THE LITTLE DUKE

A stable block, restored.

The Little Duke is a one-bedroom conversion of the original stables at Duke House. Two floors, fully self-contained, with its own entrance, private parking, and an orchard reserved for those staying. The bedroom sits in the original hayloft above. Simple, private, and easy to settle into.

the downstairs

An open-plan kitchen, dining and living space occupies the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob, oven, full-size fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine. A table for four sits to one side, with a sofa and a small reading nook nearby. Books are there to be dipped into during your stay.

Upstairs

A single suite across the upper floor, with a super-king bed (configurable as twins) and views over the gardens and surrounding fields. A walk-in rain shower sits alongside. Quiet at night, bright in the morning.

The orchard

The orchard, the oldest part of the property, is yours for the duration of your stay. A picnic bench sits under the trees, perfect for long lunches, with a smaller table just outside the door.
